nearly unlimited opportunities, providing "Ship" students with a venue to
explore new topics, seek new opportunities, and broaden their understanding
of principles, people, and issues. |

to Shippen Hall, the Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School is a
pioneering laboratory school that builds upon the University's tradition
of preparing teachers and reputation for excellence. The facility is a
technologically advanced school that combines an innovative curriculum
and research in pedagogy with opportunities for observation of master
teachers. |

| Designed to conserve energy and be environmentally safe, the Grace B. Luhrs School includes day care facilities, a library, a computer laboratory, daycare/early childhood education classrooms, and science facilities as well as classrooms and a playground. Between 145 and 160 students are enrolled at the Grace B. Luhrs School in kindergarten through fifth grade, with instruction by public school teachers and University faculty members. | ||
