| Naming Gifts represent unique opportunities to recognize major leadership gifts and significant contributions to the success of Shippensburg University. Individuals, families, groups, and organizations whose commitments rise to the special levels reflected by Naming Gifts have a special place in the University's history and its future. Their names are forever linked to Shippensburg University and revered by generations of students to come. | |||
| Within the Navigating into the Future comprehensive campaign numerous Naming Gift opportunities have been identified. Each opportunity has a minimum gift amount that reflects both a level of commitment by the donor and a level of need within that area of the University. | |||
| The following list broadly illustrates the scope of Naming Gifts available. In addition to the areas listed below, there are numerous Naming Gift Opportunities for facilities and programs in the Performing Arts Center and in the Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School. | |||
| To name a College within the University | $2.5 million | ||
| To name an Academic, Community Service, or Support Center | $200,000 to $500,000 | ||
| To name an Academic Department or Academic Program | $300,000 | ||
| To endow a Faculty Chair | $1.5 million | ||
| To endow a Professorship | $500,000 | ||
| To endow a Visiting Professorship | $250,00 to $300,000 | ||
| To endow Distinguished Graduate Student Stipends | $100,000 | ||
| To endow a Distinguished Undergraduate Student Scholarship | $100,000 | ||
