The Cora I. Grove Spiritual Center
With the help of generous benefactors who contributed to the SU Foundation’s “To Enhance the Tradition” Capital Campaign” this 7,000 square-foot Spiritual Center and Interfaith Chapel was formally dedicated on October 12, 2002. Situated on private land owned by the SU Foundation, adjacent to the Shippensburg University Campus, the center houses a sanctuary with chairs for 130 people, a small mediation chapel, permanent office space for campus ministers and their staff, office space and meeting rooms for campus religious clubs and organizations, and common areas for the discussion and study of religious topics. The center is also home to a Head Start program on the lower lever.
The center is open to the University Community for events and meetings based on availability. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday & Sunday 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. Hours are subject to change.
The interfaith Chapel is available for weddings, memorial services, and other events that mark significant moments in life. For more information or reservation inquiries please contact Judy Newell, Coordinator for the Cora I. Grove Spiritual Center at (717) 477-1693, firstname.lastname@example.org
