Academic Scholarships

For an upper division student in the College of Education and Human Services.

For entering freshmen majoring in elementary education graduating from 1) Hanover or 2) Chambersburg school districts.

For full-time undergraduate students with a QPA of 3.3. Applicants must reside in a property managemed by James Properties Inc.(Bard Townhouses). Applicants must demonstrate financial need and complete the FAFSA to be eligible.

For a second-semester freshman or sophomore, Academic Success Program student.

For a junior majoring in government or public administration.

For freshman students majoring in the Criminal Justice department.

For freshmen students graduating from 1) Shippensburg Area School District, 2) Chambersburg Area School District or 3) Big Spring School District.

For a freshman or currently enrolled student pursuing a minor in music.

For Teacher Education candidates majoring in secondary science with a 3.8 QPA who are student teaching having completed the core subjects in Teacher Education.

For transfer students who have 1. completed at least one year of study at Harrisburg Area Community College 2. graduated from high school in Derry Township or from Lower Dauphin high school 3. hold a QPA of 3.0 at HACC, with a 1100 SAT score.
