The Student Educator Resource Fund provides critical resources to Shippensburg University students pursuing a career in education across their time as a student.
Ship students preparing for a career in education face significant out-of-pocket expenses – over $3,100 in their final three undergraduate years – to meet all the requirements of their field placements and student teaching. This is above and beyond tuition and fees.
In a typical academic year, Ship has over 130 student teachers and over 750 students in nearly 1,300 placements across Pennsylvania.
The Student Educator Resource Fund will provide essential support to Ship students through an application and selection process, helping them ease the financial burden as they gain real world experience.
